I survived an attack and healed with chiropractic care

Dr. Philip Mahan, Lexington Chiropractor

When I was 18, I was in an incident where I was attacked and stabbed in the chest where the blade pierced my left lung and heart. After being heli-lifted to the hospital for emergency open-heart surgery, which saved my life, in 3 days I was at home healing. Except for one thing, my left arm was now numb, tingling and losing strength and coordination. I could not lift a gallon of milk or even button my shirt!

The surgeon surmised that because he had to justifiably open my chest up so fast, manually (by hand the old fashioned way) not slowly with calibrated retractors, it had pinched the nerves that exit from my neck and upper back going down my arm.  Thankfully my life was saved but there appeared to be no solution besides time.  However, time only made things worse and I was desperate to regain my life and move on past this ordeal.

I turned to the help of a local Chiropractor, who after proper evaluation was able to re-align my joints in my neck and upper back and my left arm regained life! I was so amazed by the bodies ability to heal itself with out any drugs or surgery just the power that made it which is in all of us, I decided to change from Pre-Med tract to Pre-Chiropractic tract. It was actually the same classes and courses I was taking just a different end result. Which has made all of the difference in my life.

Can chiropractic cure a child's ear infections?
Chiropractic isn't a cure for anything. Nor is it a treatment for ear infections. However, many children who suffer with ear infections also suffer from spinal problems in their neck, compromising nerves to the ear, depressing the immune system and preventing proper drainage.
